Book the Conference Shuttle
A shuttle is available to provide round-trip service to/from the the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus for the duration of the conference.
For hotels located on the south coast of the island (not applicable to the Silver Sands/Crane area), round trip fare is $25 USD.
For hotels located on the west coast of the island, round trip fare is $30 USD.

pickUP Barbados is a taxi-hailing service by means of a mobile app. Anyone with a smartphone can download the app, either from the App Store or Google Play Store, and request a taxi from anywhere on the island. Features available to users on the app include: standardized fares using a metered system; real time GPS tracking; fare estimates in advance of booking rides; live chat support; payment with cash or credit card.
Wait times for rides are generally short due to the in-app GPS technology, which matches users with the nearest available drivers. Users can select one of three vehicle categories when requesting rides on the app — Taxi, Taxi XL, or Taxi Premium.

From the Airport to your Hotel
When you arrive in Barbados at the Grantley Adams International Airport, after exiting the Arrival hall to the outside of the airport, you can let an Airport Taxi Dispatcher know that you want a taxi. Give them your destination (name of the hotel) and you will be, told what the fare would be, given a trip form, and directed to an available taxi.
