To attend the IEEE GEM Conference virtually to present your paper, you must first register here.

In-Person Presentations

In-person presenters must do the following to ensure that we stay on time and have an enjoyable session.

  1. Upload their presentations to EDAS so that the volunteers can have them ready for their sessions.

  2. Presenters who have not uploaded their presentations by November 19, 2023, must come to the room where their session is held 15 minutes before the start and have their presentations uploaded to the computer. The file should be given the presenter’s name to make it easier to identify and place in the right program order.

  3. The session computer will have the latest version of PowerPoint. If you require different presentation software, please be present 25 minutes before your session starts to make additional arrangements.'

Presentations will be held in either Training Room 3 or the Goddard’s Room. Both are on the first floor of the Cave Hill School of Business.

Please check the updated program on the conference website to make sure you know your session time and location.

When it is time for your presentation:

  1. The session chair will introduce you and your paper as you come to the podium.

  2. The session assistant will load your presentation and provide you with a clicker.

  3. You will present for the time allotted for your paper.

  4. Following your presentation, the session chair will moderate the Q&A session by taking questions from the audience and the Zoom chat.

  5. Respond to the questions using the podium microphone.

  6. At the end of the Q&A session return the clicker to the conference assistant.
